Grow Vegetables Like An Award Winning Pro

About Vegetable Gardening For Beginners

Jan and Graham vegetable gardening for beginners are two avid and passionate vegetable gardeners.

You do not need a large garden or indeed a garden at all to start enjoying growing your own veg. We started with containers on our window and were able (after a lot of trial and effort) to produce wonderful, delicious veg.

We began with tomatoes, then potatoes and moved on from there. The taste is just so much better than shop bought.

The important thing is to make a plan for your vegetable garden so that you know where you want to end up. That way you don’t waste time and energy. Spend some time thinking before you make up your plan, draw it up and you are halfway there.

It is also good to do a lot of reading and research before you start your veggie patch.  Lots of people get disillusioned along the way because they have made mistakes, and then have to wait until next year to put them right.  So the more reading you do in advance the better chance you have of succeeding.

Don’t just rush in.  Patience will be hugely rewarded and you will get motivation from good results these will spur you on.  Whether you are doing container gardening or herb gardening, the same applies, try and learn as much as you can before you start planting.

Good luck
